The Proton Pure is fairly small in size and suitable for small to medium sized rooms, perfect for bedrooms and smaller living rooms. In saying that, it would struggle with larger bedrooms and open planned living spaces.     Bought a Proton Pure unit directly from their site. They give several promos on the unit, bringing it down to a reasonable price. They also gave promos on replacement filters which I took advantage of, ( three replacement filters for $39.95 ). The unit was shipped and I received it a few days. In the package was the unit, and only one filter. I tried to contact the company, went through several automated messages and then disconnected. I then called the phone number on the shipping manifest but got nowhere. Five days later I tried calling the company again, spoke to the representative, explained what had happened and that I paid for the promotional filter deal but received only one filter. I was told they would rectify the order and it would be explained in an e-mail sent to me with the new conformation order number. Upon checking my e-mail, it stated they were only sending one replacement filter. This still leaves me one filter short that I paid for. I again tried to call back the company but to no avail. The unit works ok, but I’m now wondering for how long. wondering if I’ve been scammed by marketing hype.

    I purchased two air purifiers on 4/10/2021 directly from the company. They were received on 4/14/2021, I was working from home so had to wait til break to open and all. The first unit when, plugged directly into the wall was showing 42%, but it was plugged into the wall no big deal right? The second was plugged into the bedroom. It showed 98% when plugged in. The living room unit was turned off when I got done with work 8:30 pm. The other one ran all night. Then got up and turned on the living room unit it shows 29% even though it was plugged in all night. It shut itself down in less than 2 hours. Would not turn on, or anything. The one in the bedroom was never turned off kept running, shows 100% as it is still plugged in. We waited til Friday afternoon to reach out to Proton Pure. They did not want to provide information to send the defective unit back. So we mentioned the satisfaction guarantee that was given and we are not satisfied paying 300.00 for one unit so we wanted to return both. WE WERE YELLED AT and we again said all we want is information to return both for a full refund. WE HAVE NOTHING RESOLVED so now we are going to have to reach out to our credit card company to despute the charges. NOT WORTH THE non support of their product. We are still trying to figure out how returning the defective one, is trying to get a “third one at no cost.”

      Thanks for sharing. That is not very good customer service at all. If you don’t get a refund, i suggest to file a complaint and let Proton know about it. See what they say after that and let me know how you go. –
